Happy Easter!

It's almost April which means it's almost Easter!  So if you celebrate Easter, have a lovely Easter!   Anyway here are some events that are happening in April..... Saturday April 14 from 11:00-12:00, Clairlea will be hosting drag queen story time at the Toronto Public Library at Eglinton Square...hope to see you there! April 11 is Clairlea's Day of Pink!  There's going to be on open house at the gym from 4pm-6pm.  Each class will display a project they have prepared in class for THE DAY OF PINK!  We hope to see you there as well!  Have a nice day and see you on the next update. Clairlea Reads Update!

On Tuesday, March 5, 2018, Clairlea  Reads had a brief meeting in the library. We were working on our decorations for the party after school on March 21. We got a raffle ticket  to fill out:  the students name, participating adult, how did you enjoy this experience, what they could  do better  next time and your teacher. Now if you don't have a ticket and you are part of Clairlea Reads go to Mme.Trott or Ms.Purvis. See you on the next update!     Byyyyyyyyeeee!

Clairlea Reads

For our book club, Wonder.... We had a book club meeting on Friday, February 23.  We were working on self portraits in the art room!  It was so much fun!  It looked like everybody was enjoying the book Wonder. It was a pretty important meeting--our goal for that day was page 204 and so far some people are DONE the whole BOOK!!!!!!! Our next meeting will be on March 21st when we all should be done the book.  We are having a party after school in March with the child and parent that read the book Wonder.  We are going to celebrate what we have accomplished which is finishing the book!  Hope to see everybody at the party!!!!  See you on the next update!!!!!  Byeee

Junior Girls' Volleyball!

The junior girls' volleyball game had a great start but eventually, Banting dominated us by 10 points. Final score is 25-15 and we lost. On the second round we were ahead by 5 points but then they started to beat us. And the score was 25-20. The crowd was shocked the score was so close. But it was a good game and lots of fun! Great effort, Team Panther!
